About this set
How many Paul Scholes wallpapers are there, and what sizes?
1 file in 1 size, 1024 by 768.
Will these fill my screen without being stretched?
Not at full size: the biggest of the Paul Scholes wallpapers stops at 1024 pixels on the long edge, so a 1080p monitor scales it up. It is published at that size, never enlarged.
Are they for a monitor or a phone?
The one file is landscape, cut for a monitor. Turned sideways onto a 9:16 phone screen, the largest of the Paul Scholes wallpapers keeps about 432 pixels of its width and loses the rest.
Which is the biggest file, and what screen does it suit?
The largest of the Paul Scholes wallpapers is 1024 by 768, which is smaller than a 1080p screen in at least one direction, so on any current monitor it is scaled up. Every file here is that size.
Is there a portrait version for a phone?
Not in this set: the one file is landscape. The mobile and tablet collections hold portrait files.
How big are the downloads?
245 KB. The Paul Scholes wallpapers are served exactly as stored, with no re-compression on the way out, so the 1024 by 768 file arrives at the 245 KB the card shows. It stays under 1 MB.
Do these suit a light or a dark desktop?
The one Paul Scholes wallpaper measures bright, at 130 on a 0 to 255 scale, where anything under 90 counts as dark.
Can I use these anywhere I like?
On your own screens, yes, without an account.
