Cinematic Football Wallpapers — 8 Free Downloads
Wide, low-key and lit like a film still.
Wide, low-key, and lit the way a film still is lit: one strong source, deep shadow, and the subject kept small in the frame. These are the wallpapers that look like they were photographed rather than assembled, which is also why they suit a large screen more than a small one.

About the cinematic football wallpapers
How many Cinematic Football Wallpapers are there, and what sizes?
8 files in 1 size, all of them 3840 by 2160.
Will these fill my screen without being stretched?
Every one of the 8 Cinematic Football Wallpapers is at least 3840 pixels on the long edge, so each covers a 4K panel natively and a 1440p or 1080p monitor only ever scales it down.
Are they for a monitor or a phone?
All 8 are landscape, cut for a monitor. Turned sideways onto a 9:16 phone screen, the largest of the Cinematic Football Wallpapers keeps about 1215 pixels of its width and loses the rest.
Which is the biggest file, and what screen does it suit?
The largest of the Cinematic Football Wallpapers is 3840 by 2160, which fills a 4K panel at its own resolution and scales down cleanly to 1440p or 1080p. Every file here is that size.
Is there a portrait version for a phone?
Not in this collection: all 8 files are landscape. The mobile and tablet collections hold portrait files.
How big are the downloads?
502 KB at the smallest and 1.3 MB at the largest, 6.2 MB for all 8 together. The Cinematic Football Wallpapers are served exactly as stored, with no re-compression on the way out, so the 3840 by 2160 file arrives at the 1.3 MB the card shows. 1 of the 8 passes 1 MB, and the lightest, 3840 by 2160, is 502 KB.
Do these suit a light or a dark desktop?
All 8 of the Cinematic Football Wallpapers measure dark, the darkest at 32 on a 0 to 255 scale, so desktop icons stay readable over them without a shadow.
Can I use these anywhere I like?
On your own screens, yes, without an account.
