Fernando Jose Torres Sanz, more commonly known as just Fernando Torres was born in Madrid, Spain on 20 March 1984. He currently plays in the Premiership for Liverpool Football Club, and is viewed as one of the best strikers in the world. England and Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard was born on June 20, 1978 in Romford, England. He was brought up in a very footballing family, with his father Frank Lampard senior, nephew Jamie Redknapp and uncle Harry Redknapp it was very hard for Frank to go in any other line than being a football player. Throughout his career, Frank has always had ample support from his family which has helped him develop as a player. Biography – Ronaldinho

Ronaldinho was born in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil on March 21, 1980. Although Porte Alegre is a well known political and economic area, he was born into a family with a passion for football with his father a footballer for his local club and his brother a very keen football player as well. The older brother of Ronaldinho was signed for Gremio, which gave the poor family a much better house and improved living conditions. Like his brother and his father, Ronaldinho was also someone who loved football. Like many young boys in Brazil, even today, they dream of making it big in Europe like many of their countries past legend’s, Ronaldinho was no different. He was a very talented player, with much skill, flair and creativity when on the ball as a child and was signed up to play for Gremio in 1997-98. In his first season at the club, he played 5 games, however, the supporters were on the managers back as they wanted to see their new talented player more in action. Biography – Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo was born in Madeira, Portugal on 5 February, 1985. He was born into a family of two sisters and one brother already, which made him the youngest sibling of the four. The part of Madeira he came from, Funchal, was the same neighborhood as the famous Portuguese football player Artur de Sousa Pinga was brought up. Ever since an early age, Cristiano was a very keen footballer and practised his football on a regular basis, he also supported Benfica, rivals of a team he was going to play for in the future. His hard work paid off after joining his first club C.F Andorinha, however, he did not start out as a winger. Due to his physical aspects as a child, the club put him as a centre back, a position where Ronaldo showed great qualities. Ronaldo was then signed by a much bigger club, da Madeira.
